Leigh House, Fully Integrated home.
This was a home where quality and aesthetics were paramount, and
upon initial discussions with clients they were after a system that
could give dimming and scene and night time low lit walkthrough
control mainly with smart switches and stainless wall switch plates
with blue LED indicators, We had decided the Clipsal C-Bus
automation system would give complete control as well as the look
they were after.
Moving through the project there were a lot of services we
noted this could be linked to the automation system and eventually
integrated these systems including:
Living and loggia fire places start and fan control, (ridding
the old style white plastic switches supplied with them)
Control of the internal waiter lift with integration to
stainless wall plates and control
We also noted the pool had come with an Aqua Link system for the
control of the pool with a remote by the spa , thinking into this
further we realised we could also operate some outside lighting as
well as the spa operations through the integration to the C-Bus
system
Upon entry to the property we have linked in the water feature
to the intercom system and through C-Bus to turn on the water
feature as well as lighting at night for guests
The alarm is linked to an away mode turning off all lighting
upon arming the alarm
And we have included a holiday mode from the touch screen that
schedules specific lighting circuits at various times (for that
lived in look while away)and also turns off all towel rails, closes
louvers, shuts down circulating hot water pumps and the likes for
energy management purposes.
The finished product is true to the quality of the productsa and
systems we install.
"We were building a new family home and having used Scott and
his team at Quantum on previous projects, we decided to talk to
Scott about various electrical/control options.
Scott talked us through a C-Bus control system that could give
us lighting scene control and incorporate control of other systems
in the house such as fires, louvers, the dumb waiter and control of
outside lights from our spa remote.
We also liked the idea of the alarm linked to the lighting
control for an "away" mode and a "holiday" mode on our touchscreen
that runs selected internal lights on schedules while we are away,
also turning of the hot water ring main , and closes the louvre
outside if we leave them open.
Scott and his Team did a fantastic job during the installation
and commissioning of the system and they worked extremely well with
the other service providers to ensure an optimum outcome. We have
lived in the home for 6 years now and we are extremely happy with
the system and would have no hesitation in either using Scott again
or recommending him to any prospective client. We would be happy to
